Client: International Private Security Company
Date: December 2024
Location: Nampula, Mozambique
A leading insurance organization requested NSSG to provide an urgent evacuation for 2 expat personnel located in Northern Mozambique in the middle of the violent unrest events that took place in the country after the validation of the election results.
Two ground teams, each consisting of an SUV, a professional driver, and a highly trained Security Operative, were deployed to Nampula to conduct a comprehensive security assessment. Equipped with GPS trackers, satellite communication devices, and first aid kits, the teams thoroughly evaluated the local environment, mapped all entry points into the city, and developed contingency plans.
Following the assessment and mitigation of identified security threats, the teams initiated the evacuation of the two expatriate personnel. A strategic plan was executed to safely extract the clients and escort them to a pre-designated safe haven in Nampula, where they awaited their departure from the country the following day.
Throughout the operation, the NSSG C3i maintained constant communication with the expatriates, providing real-time updates on the teams’ progress.
Despite logistical challenges and escalating unrest, the mission was executed flawlessly. Under the guidance of the NSSG senior consultant, the local team, together with C3i support, demonstrated exceptional adaptability and professionalism. Their efforts ensured seamless protection and safety for the clients throughout the operation, despite the evolving circumstances.
