Emmanuel ( Manny) Mounouchos

With over 39 years of experience in the Canadian security industry, Emmanuel (Manny) Mounouchos has established himself as a leader and innovator. After graduating from Ryerson University in 1986, he founded his first security company, Omni Security. In 1996, he went on to establish Avante Security, which he took public in 2008 and is now actively traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the name Avante Corp (XX).

Manny has also served as an advisor and board member for several companies across various sectors, including financial services, neuro-medicine technology, predictive analytics, and GPS/ELD fleet tracking. He is passionate about mentoring aspiring business professionals and developing innovative solutions to support corporate growth at every stage.

Manny is a member of various Canadian security associations, including ASIS and CANASA. Beyond his work in the security field, he has expanded his business portfolio, owning a shipping company in Greece from 2016 to 2022 and a Junior A hockey team from 2015 to 2019, which ranked sixth in Canada.
