European Military Unit

About

Service:

CLOSE QUARTER BATTLE TRAINING

Client:

European military unit

Date:

December 2019

Location:

Europe

Background

An infantry unit of a European military force requested NSSG to deliver specialist Close-Quarter Battle training, aimed at enhancing the ability of its members to conduct fighting in confined spaces.

Solutions

To deliver the training, NSSG deployed two tactical instructors with a background in the Italian Army Special Forces, who delivered a comprehensive training centered on dynamic shooting exercises with live rounds, as well as on the techniques to clear a building defended by a hostile force. In conjunction with the practical training, there was a theoretical component related to combat psychology, or how to manage stress during high-intensity combat.
